Certification

The certification of persons in the ITIL ® qualification scheme is carried out in a four-tiered certification model with the stages Foundation, Intermediate, Expert and Master Level.

The Foundation Level is the entry level model in the certification dar. After successfully passing the examination, the candidate can take the further steps of the certification.

In the intermediate level, the core of the ITIL ® qualification scheme, related to the Service Lifecycle Management and Service Capability Process two training classes available, from 5 (Livecycle) and 4 (Capabilty) are modules. Following the two branches is then the module Managing Across the Lifecycle (MALC).

In order to attain the ITIL ® Expert certification, the candidate needs 22 credits. The final exam for ITIL ® Expert is the exam for module MALC. To obtain the necessary points of certain combinations Lifecycle and Capability modules are in the intermediate level possible.

The ITIL® Master is the final step. Requirements for the ITIL® Master are the ITIL® Expert certificate and five years work experience in the field of IT service management.
